BackupYourSite exists because plugin-based backups quietly stop working — a plugin update breaks compatibility, a host's PHP memory limit kills a large export mid-run, a cron job silently stops firing, and nobody finds out until the site is already down and the "backup" turns out to be weeks old or corrupt. It was built by a working web agency that kept having to explain exactly that failure to a client.

The flagship product is agentless: BackupYourSite connects out over SSH from the outside and streams a site's files and a full database dump straight to encrypted offsite storage. Nothing is installed on the customer's server, so a backup never competes with the site's own PHP workers or memory, and a broken plugin or bad update on the site cannot take the backup down with it.

What it does:

- Daily, scheduled SSH-pulled backups of files and database, for WordPress or any PHP application
- Every archive verified before it counts — a partial or corrupt backup is treated as a failed backup, not a backup
- One-click restore of files, database, or both, with the archive re-verified before anything on the live site is touched
- Encrypted offsite storage included on every plan, fully isolated per customer
- Daily summary email, including any site that silently didn't run at all
- Whitelabel available for agencies managing client sites under their own brand
- Free 30-day trial, no credit card required
